The end of the road
Spent yesterday whale-watching - superb. Then into the car and onto Seattle, which seems to be a lovely city. Surrounded by water, we had to catch car ferries to get here. The road down to our pre-booked hotel is closed for building work so finding our way was a nightmare but Steve did a great job. We then went into Belltown for a Korean meal and visited a few bars. Great evening. Nuff said! This morning it's a look round downtown and the the airport and home.
The end of another amazing experience. 2100 miles, great fun and memorable events. As always, huge thanks to Steve for being a great travelling companion, chiding me and looking after me. A big thank you to Val also, for her support and encouragement. Finally, a massive thank you to the 2 car loads of Mexicans who helped us out when we really needed it.
