Happy Campers

A test of the memory banks this. After picking up 'Vulcan' in Botany Bay, Sydney, and setting off North, we decided to aim for The Entrance. We were tempted by a sign suggesting a 'tourist route' that went off the highway and rejoined it later, so made a quick decision to take it. As the shadows grew long we decided to check the map to see when we'd be back on the highway and discovered it was a 300 km diversion and we were miles from our tentatively planned destination. But then that's the beauty of the flexibility of a campervan!

After a morning lie-in for some, a bit of getting close to nature. We made it to Diamond Head that day, and the best seafood meal ever.
