Lankayan Island

We set off on a 90 minute boat ride to our next destination with a small group of fellow adventurers. Every one was suitably kitted out for what lay ahead. 

Well nearly everyone. 

But a 2hr boat ride across open seas sure buys you some pretty amazing seclusion. It's the kind of place people get shipwrecked on in movies. A small (5 hectare) island, with just a handful of chalets on, and surrounded by those cool blue seas you see in magazines, and coral reefs. We're going snorkeling soon. As soon as we stop lying about on the beach, which we normally have to ourselves. Probably cos everyone else is snorkelling.
